Heralekayi uppinakayi- heralekai or kanchi kayi or citron lemon is very beneficial to health. 

It reduces the pitta imbalance in the body. 

A citron, a shrubby Asian tree bearing fruits which resemble large lemons with less acid flesh and thick fragrant peel. 

On the other hand, while similarly a fragrant citrus fruit, consists of a dry pulp and only a small quantity of insipid juice. 

Based from ancient studies, the citron was used mainly for medicinal purposes.
