Puffed flattened rice with pumpkin / ಅರಳು ಸಂಡಿಗೆ (PD)

Aralu Sandige Puffed/flattened rice is mixed with raw white pumpkin, Green Chillies, and salt and dried in sun for two days. Aralu Sandige can be stored for a long time. These dried fryums are deep fried and served along with rice-huli/sambar or bisibele bhath, etc. Kumbalkai Sandige or Aralu Sandige o Kai Sandige is a crispy sandige prepared with Bhatal (Puffed Paddy Rice) and Budi-Kumbalkai (Ash Guard). 

Storage: store this Kaisandige or Javvarisi vadagam in an airtight container.
